Behavioral objectives for healthy weight management in adolescents

1. Aim to be physically active at least 1 hour each day

2. Limit television/video watching to no more than 1 hour a day

3. Eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day/

    choose fruits and vegetables for snacks

4. Limit pop and other sweetened beverages; instead drink 

    non-caloric beverages

5. Eat breakfast every day

6. Pay attention to portion size and to your body's signs of 

    hunger and fullness

7. Avoid unhealthy weight control practices

8. Focus on your positive traits
